Unique Lighting Challenges

Wall Surfaces, Textures and Colors:
These three elements affect how light is focused, how it is reflected and which lamp source should be used. A
Eurofase dealer can assist you in making the appropriate lighting decisions for your space based on your surfaces and color scheme.

Lack of Wall Space:
When there is little wall space we recommend using floor and table lamps for direct and indirect lighting instead of wall lighting. A Eurofase contractor dealer can install a single main switch that refers to hidden dimmers and controls in a remote location, such as a closet.

Structural Challenges:
High ceilings can create “dark holes,” so indirect lighting may be needed to fill the dark void. A large center ceiling lighting element will provide good general lighting. For low ceilings, wall sconces  can be used. For wood ceilings, track lighting and cable systems can provide light, while maintaining the beauty and integrity of the wood surface.

Large Windows:
Although they are beautiful, large windows become “black holes” at night. By adding
landscape lighting to your home, you can increase security outside as well as add a dramatic nighttime view to your room.
